Two days and one night in Belfast staying at Malmaison Hotel. We got to visit the Titanic Museeum which was amazing. We went to the SSE Arena to see Il Divo a crossover pop opera group who left their audience shouting for more. Our second day was spent shopping totally enjoyable every where we went was within walking distance of our hotel .the people we met during our short stay were so warm and friendly. Can't wait for another excus to go back.
We found Belfast to be friendly and enjoyable. The Hop on Hop off bus tour is fabulous. It takes you to all the best things about Belfast. You will see all the murals and it is very inexpensive. The people are warm and friendly. Northern Ireland is charming and beautiful. We took a bus tour to Giants Causeway that drove along the coast and included a stop at a brewery for lunch which was very comfortable and enjoyable. The train from Dublin is very comfortable and efficient with beautiful views of Northern Ireland and is only a little over 2 hour trip. We stayed at the Ibis Hotel which is lovely and centrally located. Great shopping too.
Once you've walked round the city centre once you'll never forget it. Amazing trip. I would defo recommend the Titanic Expodition, the Titanic and City Sighting bus tour and staying at Ramada Encore Hotel, central to everything.
I like the the restaurants and bars in the quieter streets. We have eaten in House of Zen, Deane's, AM PM, Cafe Vaudiville and am looking forward to adding more to my list. We walked around Belfast was so quick and easy. We like having a meal and a show finishing with a few drinks in our Hotel.
Walked our way around all of the sights, Albert Clock, Big Fish, St Georges Market, City Hall, Titanic Belfast. The weather on the 3rd day was bad and we had hoped to get to the Giants Causeway, but our hotel had leisure facilities so made full use of them. Great choice for eating out. Lovely find for lunch was cafe Vauderville. Traditional live music at Fibber Magees, brilliant. Other pubs worth a visit: the Roof Top Bar, Filthy McNastys and The Secret Garden.
I went up for a Rock n Roll gig and only stayed one night. It was my first ever trip to Belfast and I found it peaceful, with friendly people and very pretty. The architecture was beautiful - but you have to look up to appreciate the buildings. Lots of wonderful spires and I noticed a copper roof or two. St. Anne's Cathedral near the hotel was impressive. The only thing I didn't like was I found parking in the city to be very expensive. Shopping was very good and St George's market opens early in the morning - even on a Sunday. You will never be short of something to do in Belfast.
This house was beautifully kept! There are takeaway places nearby if you would like a quiet night in, and the hosts graciously provided tea and snacks in the case of one getting peckish. The house itself is in a lovely, safe, and quiet neighbourhood, with a bus stop to the city centre mere feet from the front door and a convenience shop less than a ten minute walk away. If you can, stay here instead of a hotel.

The staff were exceptional, especially reception, concierge and the afternoon tea staff. They have a wealth of knowledge on the history of the hotel and make you feel so welcome and looked after. The building is Devine and you can spend hours exploring the hotel. Loved it’s location outside of the city centre as it felt like we were miles away from what we know.

Modern hotel just outside the city centre, about a 15 minute walk into the centre. Staff were excellent, able to get into our room well before the 3pm check in time. Our stay coincided with my birthday and when we came back to our room on the Friday night, they’d left two small cakes and a birthday card. A really thoughtful touch that was really appreciated.

This was the best hotel I have ever been in smart, chic, & the staff were second to none. We were knocked out by the decor & style. The guys at the desk were more than willing, to help us with any type of inquiry we had & never let us down , pointing us in the proper direction , that made our evenings, nights to remember. I will recommend the europa to all my friends & family & knowing their in safe hands for service & enjoyment with the europa. Europa the best of northern Ireland.
